Publishers Printing Company, a full service magazine printer, has purchased a Mark Andy Performance Series P7 press. The addition of this press will allow the company to add label and package printing services to its portfolio of capabilities, increasing its reach in the market and expanding its national customer base.
"The versatility of the press allows us to print up to 10 colors, emboss, rotary screen, cold foil, and adhesive print sizes up to 17" x 24" on a wide variety of substrates," explains Susan Reschar, Sales Manager for the Label and Packaging division at Publishers Printing Company. "The decision to purchase our first flexo press from Mark Andy, a leader in the flexo industry, was unanimous by our research team."
The company plans to begin installation of the press this month, with actual production of high-quality pressure-sensitive labels following soon thereafter. This value-added service is just one more offering Publishers Printing Company can provide to clients.
Reschar says: "We're very excited for the launch of our label and packaging division this month. This division will propel Publishers Printing Company into an entirely new market with endless possibilities."
