Publishers Press and Charleston Magazine Receive Silver Award from Sappi

Publishers Press, a publication printer and digital content solution provider, has been awarded a National Silver Award for the Sappi North American Printer of the Year.  Four publications earned a Silver Award. Out of the four selected for Silver, Publishers Press is the printer of three magazines. The Silver award was received in the Magazines-Web category for quality printing of Charleston Magazine.

This year’s Sappi winners were selected from 1700 entries submitted within 10 different categories. The categories ranged from digital printing and catalogs to brochures and direct mail. Winning pieces were chosen based on overall impact of the piece, degree of difficulty, and technical excellence.

Capturing Charleston’s style, character, and beauty for more than 35 years, Charleston Magazine is the authority on living well in the Lowcountry.

Winners of the Sappi North American Printer of the Year Competition were determined by a panel of highly regarded print professionals selected the winning entries based on the overall impact of the piece, degree of difficulty in printing techniques, and technical excellence.
