EPS Team
Publishers Press takes service to another level by offering free technical services and publications. Our Electronic Prepress Support Team helps you navigate the industry’s ever changing electronic publishing technology. The EPS Team members are very knowledgeable in their field and are available daily at no extra charge. EPS Team members will even travel to your office for more in-depth training and consultation.
Prepress
Publishers Press is capable of handling all your electronic prepress needs with the capabilities to accept your publications' materials in practically any format or at any step in the process. We were the first company to print a magazine produced completely with computer-to-plate processes, and we continue today to make innovations in the prepress area.
Our prepress capabilities include several value-added services available to our clients such as digital asset management, online remote proofing, and digital ad services, all available through the client login on this website.
Press
Our 24 web-offset presses handle standard-, digest-, and tabloid-size publications and have up to nine units. Presses are equipped with inline register-control systems, scanning densitometers, and closed-loop color correction as well as thoroughly trained operators. We also offer glossy and matte UV coating and varnish as well as spot colors.
In order to maintain print consistency, weekly maintenance is scheduled on all production equipment, and our employees are well trained in their craft. Our staff of skilled technicians is capable of repairing any press malfunction in order to limit down time. Raw materials are tested before and during use, all jobs are audited for quality control, and systems are in place to track and monitor the work that is being done for your peace of mind and ours.
Bindery
We offer a full range of binding and finishing capabilities, including perfect and saddle-stitch binding, magnastripping, tipping, blow-in and bind-in cards, polybags, polywraps, inline inkjet labeling, selective stitching/demographic saddle stitching, and belly bands.
Various quality-control checks are performed for your magazines throughout the production process, including right off the bindery line. Publishers Press sees high quality not as an added feature, but as a fundamental characteristic of a great printing company. That’s why we work to the highest standards and staff people who take pride in their trade and in making sure you get a great product.
Distribution
Our industry-leading distribution solutions include mail-list processing, selective stitching, co-palletization, co-mailing, drop shipping, and electronic, browser-based magazines.
Publishers Press is the only printer in our market to combine co-palletization, co-mailing, drop shipping, and selective stitching into our unique PubXpress™ distribution system. This efficient system of delivery is designed to reduce cycle time, increase tracking, and offer maximum postal savings for Periodicals-Class magazines. By finely sorting magazines according to postal areas and then delivering bundles closer to their entry points, we eliminate postal sorts and decrease transportation costs for greater savings. Digital Opportunities

Our Commercial Division delivers the cards, inserts, reprints, and supplements that complement your magazine as well as stationery, forms, and business cards for administrative purposes. With just one contact you have access to comprehensive printing services, so you can get back to business.
